Here is a man with a message for Mr. Barack H. Obama:
Personally I don’t like the song (it’s a preference thing), but the message is more important than the song.

Noel Sheppard at Newsbusters caught this comment from MSNBC’s coverage of the Republican convention Tuesday night.

MSNBC’s Ron Allen said to the former Speaker, “But to be fair, her resume is not something we’re familiar seeing with presidential candidates.”
To which Gingrich replied:
It’s stronger than Barack Obama’s. I don’t know why you guys walk around saying this baloney. She has a stronger resume than Obama. She’s been a real mayor, he hasn’t. She has been a real governor, he hasn’t. She’s been in charge of the Alaskan National Guard, he hasn’t. She was a whistleblower who defeated an incumbent mayor. He has never once shown that kind of courage. She’s a whistleblower who turned in the chairman of her own party and got him fined $12,000. I’ve never seen Obama do one thing like that. She took on the incumbent governor of her own party and beat him, and then she beat a former Democratic governor in the general election. I don’t know of a single thing Obama’s done except talk and write.
I’d like you to tell me one thing Sen. Obama’s done.
Allen: Thanks very much, Mr. Speaker. I’m going to leave it there. I’m not going to argue the case. Thanks very much.
EDIT: Here’s a link to the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkaKwJ9eOUU

No, not Michael Palin. Sarah Palin, the Governor of Alaska. One website called her the “Governess of Alaska.” Why does that make her sound like Mary Poppins? Anyway, I had never heard of her before this morning, but from what I have heard, she might be the person to put the Republicans back in at 1600 Penn Ave. She is a conservative, so she will get the conservatives like me to vote for them, and she is a woman, which would possibly pull some disaffected Hillary supporters (who just wanted a woman in office) away from the Obamessiah.
She knew her youngest son was going to have Down’s Syndrome, and she declined to have an abortion. When asked about her son, she said, “I’m looking at him right now, and I see perfection,” Palin said. “Yeah, he has an extra chromosome. I keep thinking, in our world, what is normal and what is perfect?”
She’s a social and fiscal conservative, she’s a strict constitutionalist, she hunts and plays hockey, for crying out loud!
I would love for Palin to be elected and shatter Hillary’s “glass ceiling” that she spoke of this week in Denver.
One final thought: until this morning I have not been excited at all about this year’s Presidential election, because no conservative was on either ticket. I’ve been telling people that I want to vote for Senator Noneof Theabove. Now we have a conservative to vote for. Yaaay!

I saw something today that really annoyed me. Last year, Al Gore won the Nobel Peace Prize for his work in promoting awareness about “anthropogenic global warming.”
Do you know who didn’t win?

That’s right. A woman who singlehandedly saved over 2500 people from the Nazi gas chambers lost to a man who made a movie about something that doesn’t even exist. That really gets to me.
