CBS Objective?

CBS News says that they are objective in their reporting, and then they publish a “news” article like this one, which is so obviously biased.

“Thousands Protest Iraq War Policy”

On Saturday, two separate groups of people met in Washington DC: people against the war, and people supporting the troops. Instead of titling the article to show the varied opinions, CBS only states, “Thousands Protest Iraq War Policy”, saying nothing about the thousands that support the Iraq war policy. The counterprotesters were not even mentioned until the second paragraph, which was so strangely worded that I had to read it twice to figure out that they mentioned both groups once, and described the anti-war group twice.

Almost every quote in the article was against the war. They quoted seven people who are against the war, but only two who supported it. I must say I did find it humorous that the rally was supposed to last three hours, but when the rally was only 60 minutes along, there were only 5-10% of the original number left (if those numbers are to be believed).

I guess they “cut and ran” didn’t they?
