Let’s talk about the real threat here: Terrorists know that they don’t have to try to get through US customs, they don’t have to get through Canadian customs, All they have to do is make their way into Mexico (not difficult), and then sneak across the border, which is not guarded heavily enough. “But we are patrolling it” Yeah, well, I would venture to guess that if four Mexican army guys can cross without difficulty, I doubt terrorists would have an issue.
As reported in this article, the Mexican army is invading! One quote from the article says, “Bonner said there have been at least a half-dozen situations in recent years in which Mexican soldiers have entered U.S. territory and shot at Border Patrol agents.”I’m sorry, but this only emphasizes the need for a fence. If it is going to be a border, then we need to guard it. Let’s not talk about all of the people sneaking in illegally and squeezing the life out of our government entitlement programs. Let’s not talk about the fact that four armed agents of another country just held a US government official at gunpoint on sovereign US land with no recourse.
