What was that all about? Our three best hitters: Soriano, Ramirez, and Lee had a total of 27 at bats. How many home runs did they get in the three game series? ZERO. How many hits in that 27 at bats? FOUR. A stinking .148 batting average. No wonder we lost.

I am still a Cubs fan. I will always be a Cubs fan. But sometimes it is tough to support a team that loses every year. Ask Rex Grossman if consistency by itself is a good thing. You need consistency AND excellence.
