Joke for the day:
A man runs into a saloon, smacks his hand on the bar and says to the bartender, “Quick! Give me a beer before the trouble starts!” The bartender quickly gives the man a beer, and he sucks it down.
He then says, “Give me another beer before the trouble starts!” The bartender gives the man another beer, and this one goes down just as quickly. “More beer, trouble’s coming!” the man insists. While drinking his third beer, the guy sitting next to him asks, “When’s the trouble going to start?”. The drinker says, “As soon as the bartender figures out that I don’t have any money!”
A variation of this joke has the drinker as a man who comes home from work, sits in front of the TV and demands beers “before the trouble starts”. The bartender is played by the man’s wife, who increasingly gets irritated at his demands for beer, until she finally explodes and starts yelling at him. At this point, the man says something like, “oh well, it started already.”
