Solidarity

So Muslims in Denmark were upset that some cartoonists made cartoons that depicted Muhammad. Evidently this is an affront to the religion of peace. So what do the followers of the religion of peace do to protest this “insult”? They riot, they cause all sorts of violence. We found out this week that there was a plot to murder one of the cartoonists. Michelle Malkin says it, “Two years ago, the Mohammed cartoon conflagration consumed the world and the blogosphere helped lead the way in fighting back. Longtime readers will remember that this site hammered the issue in support of Denmark. “Sammenhold,” you may recall, is the Danish word for solidarity. With the arrests this week of five jihadists accused of plotting to murder one of the Danish cartoonists, it’s time to demonstrate sammenhold again.”I for one will not bow to pressure from islamo-facists. Here’s my little protest. Note the Muhammad guy’s head is a bomb. When I saw this cartoon, I thought, nobody uses round bombs like that anymore. Evidently, I was wrong.

McCain the Heir Apparent?

Why is McCain seen as the Heir to the throne, when he doesn’t have the nomination yet? Why is the national media trying to shove McCain down our collective throats? Every time I turn on the TV or look at a news website, I am told that McCain is the only Republican candidate. How can that be when McCain only has about half of the needed votes for the nomination. By my count, that means that McCain has around 25% of the available delegates. True, Huckabee has only 10% of the needed votes, but that means that 65% is still out there to be grabbed.
Question: who gets the delegates from Massachusetts (and the other Romney states) now?

Buh-bye!

Romney quits! Well this was unexpected. One of the liberals has given up. Well, I guess to be fair, he was the least liberal of the liberals mentioned. More of a liberal leaning moderate. Still no conservative, though. You don’t get to be governor of Chowdahville by being a conservative.I only hope that now most of his supporters will propel Huckabee to the nomination over McCain. Slim hope, I know, but hey: The NY Giants won the Super Bowl this year…ANYTHING can happen!
